No, you can only get that college only but of course you can get other branch of that college in later rounds. For getting other college in next rounds you have to choose float options.

Placements vary from branch to branch and year to year according to the need and situation of national and international markets. Average package of NITJ in 2018-19 batch is 7.97 lakh.
Highest of computer science is 12.00 lakhs and lowest is of textile 5.00 lakhs.

No, to get admission in any engineering college of national importance like IIT, NIT and IIIT and also in state government engineering colleges then you have to appear in JEE Mains exam and go with JoSSA counseling then you can get the admission in biotechnology in NITJ based on your rank.

The admission in NITs are based on JEE-Main ranks and 12th marks. The minimum required percentage for admission in NITs at 12th level is 75%. On the basis of diploma you can not get admission in NITs. Hence on the basis of your 12th marks you are not eligible for the admission, if belongs to general category.

IIIT is always better when compared to an NIT, however, small an IIIT may be, you'll always get a better exposure in an IIIT. So, according to me, you should go to the college you've been selected. Also, the spot rounds in most cases is a waste of time and money as they do not offer a seat in most of the cases.
