To become a Deputy Commissioner (DC) in India, you need to have bachelor's degree in any stream from any recognised board. This is the basic eligibility required to appear for any Civil Services Examination.

Shahpur campus is part of the broader CT Group, featuring NAAC-accredited constituent institutes, regular skill-enhancement classes (communication, aptitude, and interview preparation). So, according to me it is a decent choice to pursue graduation here.

Yes, most Jalandhar nursing colleges are approved by Indian Nursing Council (INC). This approval is one of the very important factors that will confirm your degree for your future licensing and jobs. It is always a good idea to check for INC approval before registering at a college.

Lovely Professional University (LPU) is considered one of the top nursing colleges in Jalandhar. It holds AICTE and UGC approval, along with strong infrastructure and placement support. Army College of Nursing is another well-known option in the city. Both colleges offer good clinical exposure to students. Choosing between them depends on your budget and course preference.

If you mean Panjab University (PU), Chandigarh, Group Discussions (GD) are mainly conducted for management/MBA admissions, not for most regular undergraduate programmes.

For the 2026–27 admission cycle, GD & PI are specifically part of:

  • MBA (Sectoral) programmes at UIAMS, Panjab University.
  • MBA at University Business School (UBS), Panjab University Regional Centre, Ludhiana, where GD & PI are also conducted.

So, if you're asking about BBA, B.Com, BA, BCA, etc., GD is generally not the standard admission process it depends on the specific programme and its admission notice. You can check the official Panjab University admission notices fo

NTSE Stage 1 registration is a state level process and the link is usually available on your respective state education board's official website. Registration windows typically open around September to October every year so keep checking regularly. If you are a Punjab based student and are also exploring college options alongside your NTSE preparation, Rayat Bahra University Mohali offers merit based scholarships for academically strong students which is something worth keeping in mind for your higher education planning.
