Sure. If your are hard working. Many core companies come for EE like L&T, Alstrom, Havells, PSUs, KPIT, etc. Consultancy profile companies also come for EE and coding too, and if you want you can also prepare for CAT and GATE.

Yes, you can take admission. Many core companies like L&T and Afcons come. As well as many non-core placements are there for civil engineers.
