Hello Aditya,
When a student opts for integrated 5 years M.Sc in an IIT or NIT then the student is giving away his choice of B.Tech in that Institute. This is so since you have chosen M.Sc in one of the Science subjects and not B.Tech in that particular institute. Hence if you have chosen M.Sc as your choice in a five-year integrated course then obviously you cannot think of getting any B.Tech degree.
Best wishes for your M.Sc.

this year as the procedure of declaring result has been changed which is now based on percentile so you have to wait till the final result gets declare because final result will only tell in which college you can get admission. The final result will be declared after JEE Mains April exam. Good luck. Hope it helps.

Hi, according to my point of view NITs are the best government colleges in India.
NIT, Jamshedpur you can choose. It has a great environment. A good to go sized campus, and in the vicinity of the market place. Co-operative people, great security and greenery all around. Experienced professors: In core branches like mechanical and civil we have some really experienced professors. With teaching experience more than probably your age.
Great Hostels: NIT Jamshedpur has one of the best hostel facilities in the country. Two mega hostels, with an accommodation of 1500 students (two buildings, 7 storey). Almost throughout your stay at NIT Jams

It will be based on based on your branch. If it's Mechanical engineering it's somewhat tough, and if it's Computer Science it will be easy.

Both the colleges are reputed once so either of them would be a good choice. However, since NIT Patna is a government funded institution, its stature is high as compared to that of VIT Vellore. Hope that helps. All the best buddy.

Placement of NIT-Patna is nice. This year, placement for CSE is 100% except for this many core company candidates got the job in consultancy profile. The average package is around INR. 7 LPA and the highest package is INR. 39.6 LPA. There are some students placed in Amazon with INR. 27 LPA package. HIGHRADIUS recruits 51 students with 20+ students for developer profile with 7 LPA and around 30 students at consultant post with INR 7 LPA and 2 students for sales profile INR 8 LPA. There are many core companies like KPIT, KEC, L&T, and ALSTOM which took 20-23 students with around INR 5 LPA. Vedanta also came and took 10 students at INR 7.
