To get admission in BTech at NIT Rourkela, Candidate must have passed the 10+2 (or equivalent) exam from a recognised board with a minimum of 75% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) subjects for the general category. Reserved category candidates might have a slightly lower minimum percentage. Admission is based on your JEE (Main) score.

NIT Rourkela BTech application process is completely online. For admission to BTech, students need to apply via JEE Main and appear for the exam. After qualifying the JEE Main entrance exam, students need to register for the JoSAA Counselling and submit the final score on the institute's official website. NIT Rourkela MBA admission is entirely entrance-based. The selection process begin with the release of the application for respective entrance exams. Candidtaes have to qualify for the exam and fill an application form on the official website of NIT-R for admission to MBA course.
