You can get an NIT, but in the desired stream it would be difficult for you, as if you run behind the desired stream then you might lose a good NIT.

Your expected JEE Main AIR is about 26520. The last year closing rank in NIT Jamshedpur was 95375 in ECE under HS quota for asked category. Hence if this trends continue for this year also, than your chances for admission are very less.

The cut-off closing rank for CSE in NIT-Surat for home state students is Rs. 5000. And, for other state students, the cut-off closing rank for CSE in NIT Surat is top Rs. 2500 in JEE Mains.
