SPA Delhi Highlights 2025
School of Planning and Architecture was established in 1941. This deemed to be university also goes by the name of SPA Delhi. Under an Act of Parliament, Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India, the Institute is recognised as an 'Institution of National Importance'. Formerly established as a Department of Architecture of Delhi Polytechnic, SPA New Delhi is accredited by COA and is approved by MHRD.
Many courses offered at SPA Delhi are approved by the Indian Institute of Architects, Council of Architecture, and Commonwealth Association of Architecture. The Institute has several collaborations with institutions such as SPA-Vijayawada, SPA-Bhopal, and Dr BR Ambedkar University of Delhi (AUD).

Yes, SPA Delhi is good for BArch. SPA Delhi is definitely one of the premier institutes for Architecture in India. School of Planning and Architecture has been ranked 5th among the top Architecture colleges in India by NIRF 2024. SPA Delhi BArch admission is based on entrance exam.
