No, it is not possible for you to get admission in any of the NITs with 86.4 percentile, you have to go for private institutes with this rank. Use the college predictor tool to know in which college you are eligible to apply.

No, you cannot get admission in any of the good NITs or IIITs or GFTIs. There are less chances for you to get admission in low rank NITs. It is better to go for private institutes, as you are eligible to take admission in some good institutes with this rank.

Hi,
As an opinion you should choose NIT, because his placement is very good, and the highest package salary INR. 17 Lacs per annum and average salary is INR. 6 Lacs per annum.
