So, you are expecting your JEE main score to be around 5000, which is too good for getting chance in NIT. Out of these JEE main- 5000 ranker, almost 4000 ranker will also GET good rank in IIT through JEE Advanced exam, BITS Pilani, IIIT Hyderabad & in medical too, Obviously they will join there. Your rank is now almost equivalent to 1000 for NIT, Yes I mean it. Of course you are eligible in most of the NIT s. You need not to think about your home state quota, without taking the benifit of home state quota you are eligible in the below mentioned 31 NIT s in CS department. NIT accepts only paper one score. You can go for IIST Bangalore by filling their separate form .
