Chances are slim for a good NIT but you can get a seat in some branch in last few rounds. It will be better if you prepare well for coming JEE Mains and better your score.

Yes, there is quite possibility to get NIT college with 86.25 percentile. But, you can confirm it with 2nd attempt. Ready for April attempt & score above 95 percentile.

Hello Sham Sundhar,
I can understand the concern and the angst of all the students who have appeared for JEE Mains exam in the round of January conducted by NTA. Let me here state that NTA will declare the results meaning the all India rank or the cut off marks etc. Only after it conducts its second set of exam scheduled to be held in the month of April. The registration for this exam are scheduled to get closed the first week of next month. The combined results of these two will be taken into account for declaration of all these numbers. NTA has already declared that if a student has appeared twice then best of the two scores will be

Hello Akash Kumar, You have received 90 percentile in your JEE Mains which occurred in the month of January. With this percentile, I feel you should get admission in either of the three institutions that you have mentioned. However, to be sure, I am attaching a link that will predict the college for you based on your percentile score. The final AIR will be declared after April 2019 considering the best score out of the two JEE main attempts for all the applicants, hence based on current percentile we cannot predict whether you will qualify for NIT/SPA or not. Wait for the final AIR declaration.
