For admission in NITs, one should get at least 75% in 12th and then appear in the JEE Mains exam and score a good rank in it. Previous years cutoffs for various NITs are on:
josaa.nic.in
Also for choosing NITs, you should visit josaa.nic.in on respective date of counselling as mentioned in the website of JoSAA. There you should fill up your choices
that is you have to arrange the various branches in various NITs as per you want them.
Best of luck.

You cannot get any NIT or IIIT but you have another options for good private engineering colleges where you can get admission easily. Otherwise, you should go through the state counselling procedure for the government college or the best private college. All the best.
Thank you.

No, if you are a general or OBC candidate, NIT college counseling will end up at around 40000 ranks and yours may be above 70-80k. But if you are an SC/ST candidate, may be you can get some lower branch in lower NITs.

If you too are absorbed by ISRO, under the new placement, the bond period will be of 3 years, which actually is an advantage. A degree in aerospace and a work experience of 3 years in a core aerospace organisation like ISRO makes a really good profile for higher studies. However, keep in mind that, as of now, the area of work assigned is random. Here an example. You wanted to do some analysis job but what you got was an inspection job. While applying for higher studies, the profile built during those three years would have been useful, if you were planning to do the Masters in the same domain, otherwise, start afresh.

Hi there,
Kindly google in the previous year opening and closing rank of various colleges through JOSAA. There are ranks given category wise as well as state wise (home state or other states). You will get a rough idea about which NITs you can apply for.
