Congratulations.
Both Colleges are great, and the decision depends on what do you want afterwards. NIT-Surat has a slight hand over placement. But, honestly Placements depends on student, not on college entirely. I'm not sure whether you have this information of not IIIT B is an International Institute of IT, unlike all other Indian Institute of IT. It is like a small brother to IIIT-Hyderabad. Being private, it will cost a little (80k more per annum), but in Bangalore, if you want CSE, come to the Silicon Valley itself. Every Professor, Assistant or Associate

You'll get NIT but with lower rank and with branches such as metallurgy or mining. Kindly explore other options like B.Sc.

You can get admission but in not so good NIT. Moreover, if you are able to land up a good branch, it may compensate the name of a low rank NIT.

Sorry to say, but you can't get admission in any NIT. For OBC students to get admission in any branch of any NIT, a rank under 12K is required. For general category, it should be under 40K. So, better to go for private colleges because with this score, you can't even get any government college. Don't think of dropping a year for JEE. Go and study in any good college that will be much better.

Hi ,
You can only get NITs in 2019. As a person can only give JEE Advanced twice and JEE Mains thrice.
