You have very low chances of getting an NIT as per your marks. According to your marks, you should appear for advanced exam. Chances will increase if you clear the advanced exam.

Hello,
I hope you are doing well. State rank will be calculated by your state counselling authority of JEE Mains based on that you will be able to go for NIT. You will definitely get a seat in NIT Karnataka along with your favourite branch.
All The Best.

Hello Vignesh,
It is good that you are looking forward to study in top institutions of India, however your marks are not enough to get you admission in any of these colleges, so I will suggest you to take a gap and prepare well for the next year. All the best.

Yes, you got fair chances for getting into top NITs. Apply wisely, choose your specialization wisely and participate in the counselling process. You will surely get the best.

Yes, you have chances to get into NITs and GFTIs, but you will never get your choice of specialization. You have to opt for odd specializations like paper engineering and textile engineering.

Depends on your choice. If you are passionate about coding, go for NIT, if you don't like coding, CSE is for you. In that case, go for IIT electric. Both are good, and you are doing from premier institutes. Good luck and hope it helps ( But what I feel with your marks if you get CSE, it can only be the newer ones. 157 is not enough to get CSE without home state).
