Can my son get CSE in any NIT? He has got 122 marks in JEE Mains, OBC rank is 8582 and he belongs to UP.

I want to study in an NIT but have scored less than 75% in PCM. What should I do for next year to cross the 75% board criteria?

As per your marks and category it is tough for you to get CSE at any of the NITs, but you may get some other branches in the last round of counselling.

You may give the improvement exam next year and can score more than 75% to be deemed eligible for NITs.

NIT-Trichy has great placements for CS and IT branches. The minimum package will come around 5-6 LPA.
