What is HS and OS rank in JEE Mains? Can I get any NIT in any state with HS rank except my state?

HS means home state and OS means other state. If you want to get into NIT of your state i.e if you had completed your 12 i.e intermediate in that particular state and each state gives 50% to the HS category. Hope this got cleared, good luck!
