It depends on your score, if you get above 100 score in JEE Mains and percentile below 75, you will get admission in NITs, but you can't attend JEE advance, because it needs above 75% in class 12th. Or your category basis.

No, if you use state quota in some lower NIT, then you can get only. Otherwise, on the basis of this rank, you will not get any branch at any NIT. Closing rank of all NIT closed on less than 40000 rank.
