Hello!
It depends on various factors. The name of NIT is way better than that of SASTRA. But if distance is a factor, SASTRA is a great college any day.
The college doesn't always matter. It's what you learn from it that does.

To get a seat in NIT you need to get a score above 300 marks in JEE Mains 2 as per admission trend in NITs.
