The JOSAA counselling for the admission into NITs, IITs, IIITs and GFTIs will start only after the announcement of the results of JEE Advanced 2017. Till then you need to wait. You should apply for counselling through www.josaa.nic.in

Surrounding environment. Each team will be formed such a way that at least one person should be from the opposite gender. So, there is no barrier/clash between girls and boys. You can see groups sitting/studying/coding all over the campus. (LHC- Lecture hall complex and Mechanical dept)
There you will be exposed to social services. Deshpande foundation's LEAD is inside the campus. You can do as many as social projects you want.

One must have 75% in 12th, to be eligible for admission in NIT's besides other criteria. Of course, you will have to appear for JEE Mains and clear it with good marks.
