Hello Mohit,
If only you could have scored just 25 marks more, admission would have been certainty. But, don't worry. I am attaching a link that will predict college for you:

Hi,
The JOSAA counselling for the admission into NITs, IITs, IIITs and GFTIs will start only after the announcement of the results of JEE Advanced 2017. Till then you need to wait. You should apply for counselling through www.josaa.nic.in

It depends upon the rank of JEE Mains. 12th mark is just for your eligibility for JEE Mains. Depending upon the rank do check the JOSAA's previous year opening and closing rank to get an idea of which college and which branch you can apply for. About better courses, CSE and IT are presently the best in terms of placements.

It is not possible for you to get NIT as the minimum percentage for SC category candidate for NITs and IITs is 65%.
Though you can try for GFTIs and still fill the choices for NITs too.

Very good infrastructure and cool campus with lawns and trees. You will love to come to college in August month just to see the campus.
Surrounding environment. Each team will be formed such a way that at least one person should be from the opposite gender. So, there is no barrier/clash between girls and boys. You can see groups sitting/studying/coding all over the campus. (LHC- Lecture hall complex and Mechanical dept)
There you will be exposed to social services. Deshpande foundation's LEAD is inside the campus. You can do as many as social projects you want.
Good placements. I can say the best college in North Karnataka. Microsoft, TC

Hello Anup,
One must have 75% in 12th, to be eligible for admission in NIT's besides other criteria. Of course, you will have to appear for JEE Mains and clear it with good marks.

Take part in counseling of NIT's as 42 marks would be acceptable under SC category. But your percentage in board exams is quite less.
