Hi Harsh,
If you clear cut off for 50 percentile, you stand a good chance according to past year trends.

In XUB schools (XIMB, XAHR, XSRM), admission criteria is based on percentile. If you are applying in XAHR (Xavier School of Human Resources), cut off for last year was
Domicile Quota - 70/55/55/70 (VA/LR/QA/OA)
Non Domicile Quota - 87/80/80/87 (same order).

Hello! Unfortunately, there is not even a decent B-School anywhere in India where one can get admission with just 143 percentile in the NMAT exam. And the ones you might get won't simply be worth enough to pursue MBA; turning out to be a total waste of both your precious time I.e. 2 years as well as money (in Lacs). The cut-off of all good colleges via NMAT is generally 190 and above. I would suggest you to either reappear for NMAT (or other exams as per your wish) next year or focus on the other upcoming exams like MBA CET and MAT. Wish you all the best!

You can look for IBS (Hyderabad), SRM, VIT, Alliance, Athena, etc. All are decent colleges.

Hello,
To be honest, neither of these exam scores will fetch you an interview call from any of the reputed and top-ranked B-School in the country and the colleges accepting such scores are not really worth pursuing MBA; it would be a waste of both your precious time (2 years) and money. You can reappear for these entrance exams next year and aim for a much better college, only if you wish. Else, you can focus on the other upcoming exams like MAH-MBA CET and MAT.
Good luck.

Among the three exams mentioned, MAH-CET is accepted by majority of the top-ranked B-schools in Maharashtra like JBIMS, Sydenham, Somaiya and Welingkar. Whereas, the reputed institutes accepting scores of NMAT exam are NMIMS (Mumbai, Bangalore and Hyderabad campuses only), MISB Bocconi and XIMB Bhubaneswar. ATMA isn't accepted by any of the top 20 B-schools in India, so not really important to give. Thus, CET and NMAT are better and more important exams to give.
