After completing an ANM in India, one goes through the following steps to practice as a registered nurse in Canada: First, take the qualification assessment from CNA or other recognised bodies for credentialing. Also, applicants need to prove their linguistic competence by taking IELTS or CELPIP among other tests. Following this, you should pass the NCLEX-RN (National Council Licensure Examination) or the Canadian Registered Nurse Examination in the province, and may also be required to work for several years depending on the province. Most entrance exams for B.Sc Nursing are usually held prior to June every year. These are the AIIMS B.Sc Nursing Entrance Exam, normally conducted in May, and the JIPMER B.Sc Nursing Entrance Exam that also falls in the same time period. Other than these, each state nursing council conducts entrance tests, such as Maharashtra CET for Nursing and Karnataka CET, which may also happen prior to June. The requirements needed to work as a nurse in Canada are:
- A four-year bachelor's degree in nursing, with the exception of Québec, which instead requires a three-year Diploma of Collegial Studies in nursing or recognition of equivalence
- A nursing license for the province or territory you wish to practice in
- The NCLEX exam
- Proof of English (or French) language proficiency
- A valid visa to work in Canada

Looking at the preparation for the nursing entrance test in any University in India particularly the AIIMS (link unavailable) Nursing, material to study will matter a lot. The concepts of Physics by HC Verma Volume 1 and 2, Physics for NEET by MTG Learning Media and Physics NCERT Textbook for class 11 and 12. For Chemistry, few books that have been recommended are Chemistry NCERT Textbook for classes 11 and 12, Physical chemistry by OP Tandon and Organic Chemistry by Himanshu Pandey. For Biology, read Biology NCERT Textbook for classes 11 and 12, Trueman's Elementary Biology by K.P Goyal, and MTG Learning Media's Biology for NEET. Howe
