The KGMU BSc Nursing entrance exam is conducted as part of the UP CNET (Uttar Pradesh Common Nursing Entrance Test). The UP CNET exam was held on May 21, 2025. While the KGMU itself doesn't conduct a separate exam, candidates who want to enroll in the BSc Nursing course at KGMU need to appear for the UP CNET. Regarding eligibility, males are not explicitly excluded from the BSc Nursing course at KGMU, and the UP CNET exam doesn't have any gender restrictions.

The difference between a Psychiatric Nurse and a Psychiatrist is that the Psychiatrist is a Medical Doctor who has completed a specialised degree in MD or DO, meanwhile the Psychiatric Nurse has studied the specialised Nursing field of psychiatry. Thanks!

No, you won't qualify as an RN just by taking a free online nursing course. Below is the process of becoming an RN:
Finish an accredited diploma, BSc Nursing, or Associate Degree in Nursing from an approved nursing school or university.
Pass your country's licensure exam. In India, you would need to clear licensing exams and register with the relevant State Nursing Council. These exams are conducted by state councils and the Indian Nursing Council (INC) to test your skills.
