For a Diploma in Psychiatric Nursing, you would need to be a Registered Nurse (RN) and have a GNM certificate. You can also complete a BSc in Nursing degree course and then apply for a Diploma in Psychiatric Nursing.
Some colleges may also have an age requirement, often with a minimum age of 17 years at the time of admission.

BOPEE Eligibility criteria states that the candidate must be a domicile of UT of J&K/UT of Ladakh. The applicant must be at least 17 years old on 31st December of the exam year and not more than 35 years. The aspirant must have passed the qualifying 12th class with minimum of 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB) for Open Merit category and 40% for reserved categories. English must be a compulsory subject in 12th class.

The KGMU BSc Nursing entrance exam is conducted as part of the UP CNET (Uttar Pradesh Common Nursing Entrance Test). The UP CNET exam was held on May 21, 2025. While the KGMU itself doesn't conduct a separate exam, candidates who want to enroll in the BSc Nursing course at KGMU need to appear for the UP CNET. Regarding eligibility, males are not explicitly excluded from the BSc Nursing course at KGMU, and the UP CNET exam doesn't have any gender restrictions.

The eligibility criteria for Medisky Nursing Institute courses is a minimum aggregate marks in the Class 12 examinations. For the General Nursing and Midwifery programme it is 40% and for the BSc programme it is 45%. Candidates also have to clear the West Bengal ANM/GNM programme to be eligible for admission into the programmes.

No, you are not eligle to get BSc nursing seat in 2024 if you did not cancel your BSc nursing seat in 2023. You need to formally withdraw your seat from 2023 to be eligible for the seat in 2024 admission process.
