Nagpur has almost 32 nursing colleges. Out of which, 21 are Private, 5 are Public and the rest 2 are Public Private which provides full-time nursing courses in Nagpur. Nursing is an important link in the process of connecting patients to doctors. doctors do not do all the duties; nurses are responsible for pre-and post-operation operations. Nursing graduates are also an asset to the medical profession in the form of assisting physicians in a number of procedures and procedures. Nursing graduates keep an eye on charts and stay on top of treatments.

Aarogyam Nursing College was established in 2015 to promote education and to upscale scope of nursing in the field of research. The College is recognised by Indian Nursing Council (INC), State Medical Faculty, Uttarakhand and State Nursing and Midwives Council Uttarakhand. 

DY Patil Pune offers a three-year BSc Nursing course. To get admission to this course, candidates must fulfil the basic eligibility criteria in the first place. To be eligible for this course, candidates must pass Class 12 with minimum 45% aggregate in PCB and English subjects. The minimum age of the applicant must be 17 years. Admission to this course entirely based on the university-level entrance exam. To get admission to this course, candidates must qualify for AIAHET exam with a valid score.

The Bachelor of Science in Nursing (Honors) course at the University of Ottawa seeks to prepare the next generation of nurses to offer high-quality nursing care and get leadership roles within the health-care system. It provides a solid theoretical foundation to enable the students to engage with clients in activities which promote health, prevent illness and injury, and foster optimal recovery from or adaptation to illness or injury. The duration of this programme is 4 years.

There are almost 400 Nursing colleges in Uttar Pradesh which provide full-time, Part- time and Distance/Correspondence nursing courses. Among these, 224 are Private, 26 are Public Private and the rest 17 are Public/Government. There are about 350 seats of government of BSc Nursing in UP.

To take admission to a Nursing college in Uttar Pradesh, a candidate needs to fulfil the following eligibility conditions:

• The candidate must be a citizen of India.
• They must have passed Class 12 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as core subjects.
• General category candidates must have scored an aggregate of 50 percent or more in Class 12.
