Nagpur has almost 32 nursing colleges. Out of which, 21 are Private, 5 are Public and the rest 2 are Public Private which provides full-time nursing courses in Nagpur. Nursing is an important link in the process of connecting patients to doctors. doctors do not do all the duties; nurses are responsible for pre-and post-operation operations. Nursing graduates are also an asset to the medical profession in the form of assisting physicians in a number of procedures and procedures. Nursing graduates keep an eye on charts and stay on top of treatments.

There are almost 400 Nursing colleges in Uttar Pradesh which provide full-time, Part- time and Distance/Correspondence nursing courses. Among these, 224 are Private, 26 are Public Private and the rest 17 are Public/Government. There are about 350 seats of government of BSc Nursing in UP.

To take admission to a Nursing college in Uttar Pradesh, a candidate needs to fulfil the following eligibility conditions:

  • The candidate must be a citizen of India.
  • They must have passed Class 12 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as core subjects.
  • General category candidates must have scored an aggregate of 50 percent or more in Class 12.
