The english proficiency exams accepted by NUS-ISS are the TOEFL, where you are expected to score at least 79; the GRE and the NUS-ISS entrance exams for those who are not eligible for the GRE. These exams are a necessary part of your application and is used to determine your level of proficiency and comfort in English.

No, the average Indian student will not find it very easy to join NUS-ISS. This is mainly because of how competitive the university is resulting in a mere 5% rate of acceptance. In addition, applicants are expected to maintain above a 3.0 GPA in their academic transcripts and manage to stand out in their interviews to be considered eligible for admission. Finally, studying at NUS-ISS is considered expensive and requires a financial commitment of at least 25,00,000 INR a year.

The tuition fees at NUS-ISS ranges around 30,000 to 34,000 Singapore dollars which is equivalent to somewhere around 17,00,000 to 20,00,000 INR per annum. Along with this, your total expense is based on the cost of living including accommodation, commute, transport, lodging and more resulting in a total of 26,00,000 to 33,00,000 INR a year. Hence, it is fairly expensive to live at NUS-ISS.

No, it is not easy getting part time jobs while studying at NUS-ISS as this institution is known for having an extremely academically rigorous environment which demands a high level of academic commitment and obligation from students resulting in less time for pursuing a part time job.
