No, BOT course admission requires a Science background, specifically in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) in 12th grade. This is because the BOT course involves medical and therapeutic sciences, which demand a fundamental understanding of human anatomy and physiology.

However, if you are from an Arts or Commerce background and still want to pursue a career in Occupational Therapy, you can explore Diploma courses or bridge programs in related fields.

The BOT course is a five-year undergraduate program that trains students to assist individuals with physical, mental, or cognitive disabilities. BOT course focuses on rehabilitation, assistive technology, and therapeutic techniques to improve a patient's ability to perform daily activities.

In BOT course, students study subjects like anatomy, neurology, psychology, and biomechanics. BOT graduates work in hospitals, rehabilitation centers, special education schools, and private clinics, helping patients regain independence in their daily lives.

Occupational (Bachelor of Physiotherapy) focuses on physical rehabilitation, using exercises, manual therapy, and electrotherapy to treat musculoskeletal and neurological conditions. It mainly helps patients regain mobility and strength. Occupational Therapy (OT), on the other hand, aims to improve daily living skills, assisting individuals with disabilities in performing everyday tasks.

While BPT emphasizes movement restoration, OT concentrates on adapting environments and tasks to enhance independence.

A BPT (Bachelor of Physiotherapy) focuses on restoring physical movement and strength after injuries or surgeries. It deals with exercises, manual therapy, and rehabilitation techniques.

A BOT (Bachelor of Occupational Therapy) focuses on helping individuals regain daily life functions through adaptive techniques and assistive devices. It is more concerned with improving the ability to perform everyday tasks rather than just physical rehabilitation.
