For seeking admission in MBA, one needs to have minimum 50% marks in graduation and should have a good score in CAT. The higher the score, the better are the chances of getting admission into a top MBA school.
You first need to decide what are your interest areas and career aspirations & then based on it, decide the way forward.
An MBA will help you seek a job in non technical fields.
There is an ample score for both M.Sc in chemistry as well as MBA.

Hello Pawan,
It is a very good choice. Operation management and industrial management both have a good combination and marketing is cheering on the cake.
I have operations and marketing and that's why I can clearly say that it's a good choice.
Have a nice day.

Hi Vignesh, from what I understand, you mean to ask if MBA course is appropriate for you based on your academic and professional background. If that is the case and your interest is in operations management, I would definitely recommend an MBA course for you to gain a thrust for your career. 3 years is a good number to have industry experience and this is the right time for you to foray into management courses. I hope this helps. Please write back in case you have any other query.

ANKIT DIWANPursuing MBA in Operations Management from SIOM

Contributor-Level 6

If you are specifically asking for MBA in operations management in SIOM, then I am sorry because SIOM only admits engineering background students. But apart from that, you can go through different colleges and their norms. As per my individual knowledge, operations management is only available for B.Tech or BE students. But you can try your luck. All the best.
