As per the official statistics released by Oxford University, the undergraduate courses recorded an acceptance rate of around 15% for 2022. Around 24,000 people applied for undergraduate study in 2022 and over 37,000 people applied for graduate study. Oxford usually has around 3,300 undergraduate places and about 6,000 graduate places each year. The graduate programmes recorded an acceptance rate of 18% for the same year at the university. An acceptance rate that falls at 16% shows that the University is extremely selective and has very stringent admission criteria and high entry standards.

According to major ranking providers like Guardian University ranking and the Complete University Guide, both universities ranked among the top 100 business universities in the UK. If we compare them in term of ranking by Guardian, then Oxford Brookes ranking for business, marketing & management is 57 while the University of East London rank 100 in the country. Hence, Brookes is the better choice than UEL in terms of ranking to study MBA in the UK.
