Mechanical branch is good in DDIT. Your seniors are really helpfull and innovative. They are working on different projects. You will learn lot in DDIT if you have real interest in mechanical. Good luck.

Both Business School are good in tier 3. Fees of BIMTECH is higher than PDPU. Placement of BIMTECH is around 7 LPA and PDPU is 6.8 LPA. PDPU for energy and infrastructure management has smaller batch size than BIMTECH.

Admission depends upon your JEE Mains score and percentage and if you want to join IITs then JEE Advance score matters too. Some reputed private universities such as BITS, LPU, VIT, etc. conduct their own entrance exam. 10+2 with PCM (physics, chemistry and mathematics) with min 50%-60% is the basic requirement to take admission in B.Tech Civil Engineering program.
Direct admission- Engineering institutes which offer direct admission have certain criteria for admission. Either they offer admission on the basis of merit in qualifying exam i.e. 10+2 or equivalent or there are some management seats reserved in private engineering colleges.

Indian institutes of technology are the best in business. So, for placements, IIT is much better option than PDPU.
