Yes, PDEU offers scholarships to students based on merit, JEE Main ranking and performance in the first semester. There are six types of scholarships offered as mentioned below:

  • Merit Scholarship for a full waiver against the tuition fee (w.e.f. first semester)
  • Merit-cum-Means Scholarship full waiver against the tuition fee (w.e.f. first semester)
  • Merit Scholarship for half waiver against the tuition fee (w.e.f. first semester) for students from SC and ST category
  • Merit Scholarship for half waiver against the tuition fee (w.e.f. first semester) for female students
  • Merit-cum-Means Scholarship w.e.f. third semester

The total tuition fee for a two-year M.Tech course is INR 3 lakh. This fee is taken from unofficial sources and hence, is indicative. Students are requested to visit the official website to get more details on the same. Apart from this, the other included fee components are hostel fees, one-time fee. The One-time fee includes Caution Money Deposit and Library Deposit.

In order to get admission to BTech at School of Energy Technology, students need to pass Class 12 with 45% aggregate in theory and practical of Physics & Maths (with Chemistry/ Biology/ Computer/ Vocational Subject) from a recognised board. Candidates belonging to the reserved category, are required to get 40% aggregate in the same.

The minimum cutoff for the BSc programme at Pandit Deendayal Energy University (PDEU) is 60% or a CPI/CGPA of 6.5 in the qualifying degree. The bachelor's degree must have at least 50% marks (45% for SC-ST) or equivalent CGPA.
