International students enrolled for F1 or J1 status at UNC Charlotte are allowed to work part-time, but with a few restrictions. This includes working up to 20 hours per week, on campus during the academic year. They can work full-time, 40 hours per week, during the summer vacation when not enrolled in summer classes. Yes, you can study Event Management part-time with evening, weekend, or online classes.
You can learn while still working. Doing small projects or internships helps too. Part-time courses are good if you want to switch to Event Management without leaving your job.

Full-time international students at York University Canada with valid study permits are allowed to work up to 20 hours per week. As per the new policy, international students can now work more than 20 hours per week off campus. A few of the popular part-time jobs in Canada that students can take up are Barista, Cashier, Writing, Tutoring, etc.

International students can work part-time only for a total of 964 hours, which corresponds to 60% of the normal working hours in France. However, the French government suggests that working part-time will not be sufficient to cover the living expenses in France and students must consider it as a secondary source of income only and not completely rely on it to cover their living expenses.

But, they cannot work more than 20 hours per week while the classes are in session or 40 hours per week when the classes are not going on. But, do refer to the conditions to know more details. As per the rules and regulations of the Singapore Government, international students are allowed to work a maximum of 16 hours per week during the course of their studies.
During holidays or semester breaks, however, international students are allowed to work full-time.
