Indian students can work 20 hrs/week during the semester in the UK. They can work 40 hrs/week (or full-time) during semester breaks. To be eligible to work part-time in the UK, students would need to meet the conditions given below.
- Should be enrolled in a full-time, degree-level or higher course at a UKVI licnesed college or university
- Can only work 10 hrs/week for below-degree courses
- Must have a UK student visa with work conditions clearly mentioned on the BRP
- The college or university should have a track record of compliance

Students earn a minimum wage of around INR 1.3 K/hour. The previous rate was around INR 1.2 K/hour. Students earn an average monthly salary of around INR 55.2 K. Students don't need to pay an tax on this salary.
However, once this monthly limit is exceeded, students would have to get a tax number and pay tax.

Indian students can work for 20 hours every week aongside their studies in Princeton. This rises to 40 hours, when there is a semester break. The university advises students to stay within the work hour limit. If it is not followed, the US government can revoke the student's visa and deport him/her.

RMIT Australia international students can work part-time. They can work up to 20 hours a week during the studies and full-time during the holidays. Note that volunteer work is not included in the 20-hour limit. Part-time work is allowed to Indian students at the Technical Uni of Berlin. They can work for 140 days per year or 280 half days. At the time of lectures, students can not take work more than 20 hours per week. Part-time work that students can take up are Cashier, Tutor, Freelance work, Sales Associate, etc.
