Both are better for studies. PES is a separate university and VTU has other colleges attached to it ,but this will not decide the placements. Placements depend on the college you choose and its position. University value will be a add-on to it.both universities are good recognised by all education boards so the course completion certificate has a good value.

Yes, you can sit for the placement when placement season starts.

You can get 4 lakh CTC as the average package after completing MBA but it depends on you clearing the interview.

I don't know in which aspect you are asking, but considering academics, placements and curriculum mode i have chosen Christ University over PES same i consulted with other batch mates also, so from my opinion, Christ university is way better.
