Pharm D stands for Doctor of Pharmacy which is a 6 year course and is chosen by aspirants who want to make their careers as a pharmacist.
Syllabus of Pharm D does not include usage of a Stethoscope but students can use stethoscope during their clinical training under guidance of doctors/ hospital management.

NIET Noida DPharma is a two-year Diploma course. This course focuses on the fundamental aspects of pharmacy, such as pharmaceutical chemistry, pharmacognosy, pharmaceutics, and pharmacology.
On the other hand, the PharmaD course at NIET is an advanced degree programme. It is a six-year long course, which includes five years of academic study and one year of internship or residency. This programme offers a more comprehensive and in-depth study covering clinical pharmacy, pharmaceutical care, patient management, and advanced pharmacy practice.

For Osmania University PharmD admission, students must have a valid TS EAMCET score. The minimum eligibility criteria required is graduation with an aggregate of 50% from an Institute/University approved by the Pharmacy Council of India.

The university publishes a merit list after the conclusion of the application process for shortlisting candidates. Shortlisted students further need to take part in the counselling round. Annamalai University PharmD merit list further includes details such as rank, category, name of the candidate, application number, and cutoff marks. As per the university 2022 provisional merit list for PharmD, the first rank was given to a candidate with 98.16 marks and the last rank with 50.16 marks. The total seat intake for PharmD in Annamalai University is 40. There are 30 seats in the PharmD general course and 10 in the Doctor of Pharmacy Post Baccalaureate. The seat reservation policy for ST/SCA/SC/MBC/BC/OC category candidates is as per the rules and regulations of the Government of Tamil Nadu. Apart from other reservations, 5% of the total number of seats available is reserved for Orthopedically, Physically disabled candidates.
