Yes, after earning a D Pharma, you must register with the appropriate State Pharmacy Council.

In India, only licensed chemists are permitted to work in hospital or retail chemist's and dispense medication. In order to register, you must turn in your course certificate, finish a quick verification, and get a special chemist licence number. You cannot practice medicine or start a medical store without registration.

Indeed, D Pharma holders are able to work in both public and private hospitals.

You may work as a pharmacy technician, dispenser, or hospital pharmacist in charge of distributing and storing medications. In departments where drug dispensing is essential, such as emergency rooms and outpatient departments, clinical positions are available. You might need to pass state-level pharmacy recruitment exams for some positions.

In India, D Pharma graduates typically start out making between INR 15,000 and INR 25,000 per month.

Pharmacy assistants, retail pharmacists, and hospital pharmacists are examples of entry-level occupations. The job role, employer type (private or public), and city can all affect salary. Salaries can increase to INR 30,000 to INR 40,000 per month with two to three years of experience, particularly in metropolitan areas or clinical settings.
