In India, D Pharma graduates are permitted to open and operate a medical store.

You obtain a chemist licence upon finishing the course and registering with the State Pharmacy Council. Under the Drugs and Cosmetics Act, you can lawfully run a retail or wholesale pharmacy with this license. Additionally, you might be hired as a qualified individual for stock handling or drug dispensing.

No, students majoring in the arts or commerce are not permitted to enrol in the D Pharma program.

Students must have taken Science courses in 10+2, specifically physics and chemistry, along with either biology or mathematics, in order to be eligible for a D Pharma. According to PCI regulations, students from non-science streams are not considered for admission because pharmaceutical sciences are a science-based field.

Yes, you must be at least 17 years old when you apply for a D Pharma program.

Most states and institutions do not have an upper age limit. Candidates must, however, make sure they fulfil any extra requirements imposed by the state or through entrance counselling procedures. In government or centrally administered counselling, age eligibility is particularly important.

Yes, you can surelyapply for D Pharma after Class 12.

According to Pharmacy Council of India guidelines, PCM students are equally eligible, even though PCB (Biology) is traditionally preferred. You can pursue a D Pharma with a PCM background as long as you meet the percentage requirements established by the state or college.
