No, students are not allowed to open a clinic after completing the BPharm degree from Qunatum University. According to PCI (Pharmacy Council of India), pharmacist are not eligible to open their own clinics. To start the clinic, a person should be a holder of an MBBS degree. Without an MBBS degree, no one can operate a clinic or even prescribe medicine to patients. However, after completing the BPharm degree, graduates are eligible to obtain a license for the chemist/medicine shop. A pharmacist should always give medicine according to the prescription of a doctor.
