Master of Philosophy and Master of Arts in Philosophy are two different courses. As you may already know Master of Philosophy is known as M Phil. You can pursue MPhil course after completing a post graduate course. Now this course has been discontinued.
Master of Arts in Philosophy which is also known as MA Philosophy is a course that you can pursue after graduation.
Master of Philosophy is a degree in Philosophy that can be pursued with any specialisation whereas Master of Arts in Philosophy in a degree in Arts with Philosophy as a specialisation.
