Physics graduates and post graduates have better opportunities in comparison to Maths graduates and postgraduates. Majority of job opportunities in Maths is in academic and Data Analytics roles in Government and Business where Physics students in addition to academics, research are also employed in all type of engineering firms. You can do it from any prestigious institutions. Bachelors in such subjects will not make any difference, whether you pursue from a state university or from a central. Cracking it to the IIT will be exceptional keep in mind.

B.Sc in physics is a better choice. Computer application is taught in B.Tech in IT, CSE, BCA and MCA. Rest depends on your interest.

Sorry to say but your son haven't cleared JEE Mains required cutoff. So there is no way to get admission in any college through JEE Mains. You may get admission in any private college through 12th percentage.

After 12th, you will find very basic level jobs such as lab assistant etc or you can give SSC exams. But if you want a career fully in Physics then earn a bachelor degree and masters degree in Physics to open up opportunities such as teaching, research, astronomy etc.
