ETH Zurich (ETHZ) is generally considered better than the University of Vienna for undergraduate physics. ETHZ is globally renowned for its strong focus on research, innovation, and highly ranked physics programs, supported by excellent facilities and global networks. However, the University of Vienna excels in theoretical and historical physics aspects and offers a vibrant academic culture. For cutting-edge research and career prospects, ETHZ is a superior choice overall.

To gain admission to PGI Chandigarh, you would typically need to apply for the Undergraduate Medical (MBBS) Program or other allied health science courses through their respective entrance exams. However, based on your background (12th standard with 80% in Biology, Physics, and Chemistry), here's how you can approach the process:

1. Eligibility Criteria:

YMCU is not yet made the announcement of fresh cutoff B.Sc (Hons) Physics for 2024. Reviews of past cutoffs indicate that they would be very high-the same next year.

The HOGC open cutoff comes at about 89.67 while for females in HOGC, it is about 89.33 to YMCA in similar courses. Notice that very high-cutoffs below the sc and bc category also exist. Note that cutoffs vary according to the applicant pool of that year, exam difficulty, and the number of seats available.

YMCA university is all about merit.

It depends on the college/department you are applying for. If your college/department calculates the score considering the scores in English, you can apply to the college. But, if the scores are mandatory to be taken into consideration while calculating the total score in your desired college. Then, unfortunately, you cannot.

The cutoff varies from year to year for B.Sc. in Physics at Stella Maris College and varies category-wise. For general category students, the previous year's cutoff for the B.Sc. Physics course was around 90-95% in the qualifying exams. It is advisable to check on their official website or contact the college to get the exact figures for this year.
