If you are interested in courses such as Biotechnology or Forensics, you may choose English, Biology, and Physics for the CUET. The subjects would be relevant as Biology will provide foundational knowledge, whereas Physics is generally required for some of the scientific principles. However, communication skills are crucial in any field, hence the importance of English. Make sure to check the specific eligibility criteria and subject requirements for the course you wish to pursue at the university level because different institutions have specific subject combinations for admission into Biotechnology or Forensics programs.

Yes, you can also appear for the improvement examination in Physics if you have given your 12th examinations under the CBSE board. The eligibility criteria are passed in their 12th exams within the last two years of taking the application forms. And since you also said you completed 12 last year, therefore you would be eligible for taking this improvement exam also this year. You may decide to upgrade your grade in one or more of the five core subjects, which would include Physics. However, do note that you can sit for an improvement exam only once in a particular subject, and that has to be in the same year you take your board exam.

Through distance learning, Nalanda Open University (NOU) in Patna provides a B.Sc. (Hons.) in Physics.  Since NOU is an open university, it usually has an open admissions policy that prioritizes giving a diverse variety of students access to education. As a result, there are typically no set cutoff scores for admission to the B.Sc. (Hons.) in Physics degree. Generally speaking, prospective students must have finished their 10+2 coursework in the science discipline from an accredited board. It is best to check the official NOU website or get in touch with their admissions office directly for the most precise and current information
