Eligibility criteria to join Flying training is as follows:
(a) Class XII under the 10+2 system or its equivalent with a minimum of 50 per cent marks in Mathematics and Physics.
(b) Minimum 16 years of age to be eligible for a Private Pilot License and 17 for a Commercial Pilot License.
(c) Vision in one eye must be perfect. In general medical terminology, it is called 6/6 eyesight. In the other eye, you could have an imperfection of 6/9, which must be correctable to 6/6.
(d) General physical fitness as approved by DGCA is mandatory.

If you have done Diploma after 10+2 with PCM then only you are eligible for seeking CPL. Diplomaholders who have done diploma after 10th are not eligible for seeking CPL.

Admissions to flying schools to become pilot, accepts students based in 12th with PCM. Hence be advised to start efforts before doing Masters.

A Commercial Pilot License (CPL) is a qualification that allows you to act as a Pilot in Command or PIC of a single pilot aircraft or as co-pilot of a multi-pilot aircraft.
The basic requirements to obtain the CPL license are published by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO). However, the actual courses in flight training programs vary from country to country, based on the National Aviation Authorities (NAA).

Yes, there is a course to become a pilot, but you can't get promoted to a higher post if you won't clear your NDA exams. You will be stocked to a lower post with no such facility and low respect. If you agree then that depends on your will whether you appear or not.

It is extremely difficult to get work visa in USA. Work visa restrictions are increasing day by day. Therefore, chances to get job in American Airlines and their readiness to sponsor your H1 visa are limited.

One will get CPL only after clearing flight as well as theoretical examinations conducted by the Civil Aviation Authority of ones country. After getting CPL, one is entitled to fly Commercial as well as Cargo planes.
