Entrance exam to becoming pilot is Pilot Aptitude Test (PAT). PAT is a common name for entrance conducted by different institutes and flying clubs and schools. About PAT: This exam checks candidate's proficiency in Mathematics, English and some basics of air navigation, which consists of subjects like- Physics, Geography, Aerodynamics etc. Physics, English, Maths and Geography are totally 12th standard based. It's very good to know that you have a good dream. But one needs to work hard to achieve dreams. Basically you should have PCM in 12th for thinking of this course. There are some finer criterias for which I suggest you contact Institute directly.

You must have a minimum of 55% PCM in class 12th. If you are going to take your flying classes from government flying schools there will be an entrance test conducted by the Director General Civil Aviation or the DGCA. Being a pilot requires a lot of specialized technical training at various levels. In brief, the first level is that of a Student Pilot License (SPL), which allows the student to learn.
