PGIMER Chandigarh conducts its own entrance examination for admission to B.Sc. Nursing, and the cutoff varies annually based on exam difficulty, number of applicants, and category-wise seats. Typically, for the general category, scoring around fifty to sixty percent in the entrance test gives a good chance, while reserved category candidates may have lower cutoffs. The official merit list is published on the PGIMER website after the entrance exam results are announced. It's advisable to check the previous year's cutoffs and prepare with PGIMER's sample papers for better clarity and readiness.

If you're applying for PGI Chandigarh (INICET), and want rural area quota benefits, you need an official Rural Service Certificate. It must match the format in Annexure-IV of the INICET prospectus and should be signed by the DM (District Magistrate). You need to have served 2+ years in a government-recognized rural area. Apply via your state's e-district portal, attach documents like service proof, voter card, and submit. DM's stamp = your golden ticket.
