The PGIMER BSc Nursing exam is of 100 marks. Obtaining around 97 to 99 marks is considered as good score in the exam. Even the PGIMER Nursing cutoff for General category candidates was around 98.7938 percentile in last two years.

The PGIMER BSc Nursing exam comprises questions from Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English and General Knowledge/ Current Affairs. As per the question paper analysis and feedback of candidates, Physics section is a little difficult to prepare. Candidates generally find the questions from PGIMER BSc Nursing Physics little time taking to solve.

The total score in the PGIMER BSc Nursing entrance exam is 100. There are 100 objective-types questions in the exam and each question carries 1 mark. The exam also carries negative marking of 0.25 mark for each incorrect answer.

You can apply for PGIMER postgraduate medical courses if you:
Hold an MBBS degree (or BDS for dental specialties) recognised by NMC/DCI.
Have completed compulsory internship by the required date.
Meet the minimum marks threshold in your qualifying degree.
Are registered with a medical council.
Appear in and qualify INI-CET, followed by counselling/seat allocation

Hi.
Yes admissions are merit-based, but the merit is defined by the entrance test performance (INI-CET) rather than college grades or aggregate marks alone.
You must qualify and rank well in INI-CET to be competitive for PGIMER seats.
