At this level, the study is expected to provide new and original insights into the problem or the area under investigation. Therefore, Ph.D. in computer Science or IT prepares students for the field of education as university faculty, research, writer, and consulting by training them to seek new knowledge in the area of their expertise. Some computer Science/ IT specialist takes a career as consultants, advisory to CIOs and large businesses decision makers. In addition in western developed economies, there are many corporate management opportunities available for these highly qualified professionals in technology companies. These positions may include top-tier management or executive jobs and could involve working in a number of different fields due to their versatility.

Another approach is to focus more on learning one programming language well. Once you're proficient at one language, the next one will be easier (just like learning natural languages). Some programming fundamentals stick with you across languages. If you can't decide, go with the programming language approach. If you don't have a favorite language, go with JavaScript or Python. Don't worry too much about different fields or topics. For your first job, it's not very important what your background is. No one who is looking for an entry-level programming job has very much real-world experience. But the more programming time (in any language) you have under your belt the better.
