Diploma after class 10th is not a bad option, but to be honest is turning out to be tough and competitive in all the long run of IT jobs and I have come across most of the incidents where people land up going for an option of lateral entry B.Tech after completing their diplomas to fetch job opportunities for themselves. But, it is not like chances do not exist with Diploma at all, there are some chances, but the better and best ones are with degree. Even while applying for the jobs at any online portal for a software developer most of the organizations mention eligibility criteria as degree holders like B.Tech CSE or B.Tech IT or BCA. It would be highly advisable that you go ahead with Non-Medical as your stream for 11th and 12th post which you shall be eligible to pursue Bachelor's degree in B.Tech computer Science or B.Tech information technology or BCA ie Bachelors of computer applications because that is the eligibility criteria expected by employers for job opportunities as a web developer. In order to provide you a transparent track of courses and path that you must follow towards your aim, I shall advise you that while your graduation you need to go for certification of technologies like HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, RWD (Responsive web designing), Javascript, Query, SQL, PHP. Also there are the latest upcoming industrial technologies like ReactJS, AngularJS, NodeJS NPM etc. That you are really advised to brush your skills on because all real time projects in almost all IT firms now-a-days are ongoing with these set of technologies. Apart from pursuing 11th and 12th standard as non-medical option you may go for a Diploma course or institution based training and certification for all these technologies but that should be the last option to consider as they do not turn out to be really fruitful to fetch a job as web developer in renowned organisations. If you are eligible for admission in B.Tech then consider taking admission in B.Tech (IT). If not, then BCA will be a great platform which will allow you to enter into IT Sector. After a BCA you can work as a Software Engineer, Developer, Tester, Data Analyst etc. BCA is a good career to work in IT Sector after B.Tech.
