No, you cannot take admission in the law programs at Chandigarh University without an entrance exam. The university has made CUCET mandatory for all integrated law courses like BA LLB (Hons.), BBA LLB (Hons.), and B.Com LLB (Hons.). This test helps the university assess your basic aptitude for legal studies. The good part is that CUCET is not difficult, and you only need 30 out of 100 marks to qualify. Once you clear it, you also become eligible for scholarships under the university's scholarship initiative. There is no requirement for CLAT or any other national exam, so even if you haven't prepared for CLAT, you can still get admissio

Absolutely! A low CLAT 2026 score does not affect your chances of getting admission to BA LLB or

BCom LLB programs at Chandigarh University. The university follows its own entrance process called

CUCET, which is mandatory for all applicants. Your admission is based on your CUCET performance

and 10+2 marks, so students who did not score well in CLAT still have a clear pathway to join the law

programs.

This approach allows students from all backgrounds to pursue legal education without being limited by

national-level exam scores. Moreover, performing well in CUCET can also make you eligible for

merit-based scholarships, which helps reduce fees.

From a long-term perspective, it will take a lot of time. I'm talking about maybe 3–6 months of part-time studying basic HTML, CSS, or Java. After, we can double it to have a backend base. For example, 12 months to become a junior. And after it's just studying and studying, as there are many fields that are developing right now. For example AI or Web3. So, we don't actually have an option to understand the limit you need. And of course, the time is up to you.
