In the PSTET exam, papers 1 and 2 contain 150 objective-type multiple-choice questions (MCQs) each. Paper 1 comprises 5 sections i.e. Child Development and Pedagogy, Language-I, Language II, Mathematics, and Environmental Studies. Paper 2 comprises 4 sections with a choice in the fourth one i.e. Child Development and Pedagogy, Language-I, Language-II, and Mathematics and Science or Social Studies. PSTET Marking Scheme: 1 mark is allotted for every correct answer and there is no negative marking in the PSTET exam.

The PSTET Notification was released on the official website. The Punjab Government releases the PSTET Notification in Hindi. The PSTET Notification PDF will contain crucial details of the exam including the application process, eligibility criteria, important dates, exam pattern, syllabus and others. Candidates who qualify for the PSTET exam become eligible to apply for recruitment as Primary or Upper Primary level teachers in the schools of Punjab. Qualifying candidates will receive their PSTET eligibility certificate after the declaration of the result.

After the issue of an admit card, candidate will not be able to change the examination centre for the PSTET exam. Also, the examination centre once allotted can not be changed under any circumstances. Therefore, candidate should be careful while filling out the application form. It is also recommended that chose the centre which is closer to the residence and you will be able to reach on time on the day of the examination.

If the spelling of a candidate name as mentioned in the PSTET hall ticket is incorrect then he or she need to immediately contact the exam conducting authority to fix the mistake with providing a supporting document of correct spelling. Candidate need to fill a form also to submit the request of correcting the name.

Candidates required registration number and date of birth to downlaod the hall ticket for the PSTET exam. The registration number was assigned at the time of the application process. This is basically a unique identification number which is used to track the application and details of the exam.

The PSTET exam reporting time is given on the admit card. You should check your hall ticket for the reporting time of the exam. As a general rule, you should arrive at the center at least 30 minutes before reporting time.
