PSTET 2025: The Punjab School Education Board will release the PSTET 2025 Notification soon on the official website. After the release of the notification, PSTET application form 2025 will also be released. The PSTET notification 2025 will be released as a PDF file containing the exam details including the application process, eligibility criteria, exam dates, exam pattern, syllabus, answer key, result and others.Candidates who are interested in appearing for the PSTET exam need to apply by visiting the official website. A direct link will also be provided below once it is released. The PSTET 2025 exam will be held in separate sessions for Paper 1 and Paper 2 papers. The PSTET Result 2024-25 was released by the Punjab School Education Board on February 19, 2025. The PSTET 2024-25 exam was conducted by PSEB on December 1, 2024. Candidates need to appear for the PSTET exam in order to obtain eligibility as Classes 1 to 8 teachers in Punjab schools. 

 

Q:   When will the PSTET 2025 notification be released?

The Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) will release the PSTET 2025 notification at pstet.pseb.ac.in. After its announcement application process will also start. It will be released in the form of PDF and provides information on important things related to the exam such as dates, registration, exam pattern, syllabus etc.

The difficulty level of the PSTET exam depends on the preparation of the candidate. It is generally considered as moderately challenging.

Q:   How many minimum marks do I need to score in order to qualify the PSTET exam?
A: 

To qualify the PSTET, candidates are required to get the minimum qualifying marks set by the conducting authority.

For General Category Candidates
Minimum 60% marks to qualify.

For Reserved Category Candidates (SC/ST/OBC/PH)
There is a relaxation of 5% for reserved category candidates, so they need to score a minimum of 55% marks to qualify.

What is PSTET Exam?

Punjab State Teacher Eligibility Test (PSTET) is an exam conducted at state level to determine the eligibility for Primary (1 to 5) and upper primary (6 to 8) class level teachers. It is held in two shifts for both the papers. Candidates who want to pursue the career in teacher from 1 to 5 class need to give first paper and second paper for 6 to 8. Moreover, who want to become teachers from 1 to 8 need to sit in both the exam papers.

No, you cannot show digital copy of PSTET admit card at the exam center. You must carry a printed copy of the hall ticket for entry in the exam hall. The admit card has details such as your name, registration number, roll number, exam date and time, center address, and guidelines.
