To become a CBI officer, you have to appear the exams conducted by UPSC. It is called the Combined Graduate Level Examination. This exam is held once a year for the post of Sub-Inspectors of Police in Central Bureau of Investigation. Yes, B.A. Criminology will be beneficial for you.

You can do graduation course after 12th, which is a three year degree course. After completing graduation, you can also do Master's degree in psychology and even research works also.

Most of the job opportunities will open in the clinic and in the school psychologist. Due to more demand in health care centres, hospitals, mental health centres, social health services and schools will lead to the growth of employment in psychology sector. With the increase in the aging population, mental problems, physical problems the need of psychologist is increasing. There are a number of sectors offer for the psychology degree holders. The basic eligibility criteria for pursuing B.Sc. (Psychology) degree is qualifying 10+2 or equivalent examination in any stream. Some reputed colleges and institutes demand a minimum of 50% marks in 10+2 as qualifying criteria to secure admission in this degree course

Eligibility for M.Sc in psychology:
A student who has passed in BA or B.Sc psychology degree from a recognised university with minimum of 50% aggregate. Students having any other degree such as Bachelor of social work (BSW), BA sociology, B.Sc home science, BA philosophy or B.Ed with psychology papers can also apply.
