Eligibility Criteria for admission in BA(Hons.) in Psychology :
Minimum 45% marks is required in class 12th. Aggregate of one language and three best elective subjects would be considered as best four subjects (BFS). Environmental Education (ISC), Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Painting, Dance, Music, Physical Education, Home Science, Engineering Drawing and all other vocational subjects are not considered as BFS. Where do you plan to apply because not every college will be conducting an entrance exam for admission in these courses? Every university or college have different syllabus and criteria of admission.

I am sure, B.Sc. Hons psychology will have more scope that B.A. The studies will include scientific topics and subjects with specialisation in the study of mind, behavior and psyche of the human. After graduation in B.Sc. Psychology, you can expect job offers of salaries from INR 12 to 16K, per month. The salary goes beyond further as and when you get enhancement in your skill set and experience.

You need to be a B.Sc-Psychiatry student or have equivalent examination with a minimum of 55% and above from a recognized university, if you want to do M.Sc in psychiatry.

The student should have cleared their senior secondary examination with at least 50% marks. Admission process varies for every college. Some of the colleges accept the admission on the merit basis and some of the colleges accept the admission on the basis of the entrance tests.

1. Printed or Digital Contents
2. Personal Contact Programmes
On both, IGNOU has a better offering as I have seen the government universities like Kurukshetra University gives you the worst study material in terms of relevance to modern times. IGNOU has a name and there you can find flexible learning facility in terms of subjects.

Aah! An engineering graduate desirous if doing a course in psychology. Great. I personally like psychology since it teaches us many things in life. I would advise you to download brochure cum application forms of IGNOU & Annamalai. Go through it and then decide on the course that you want to pursue based on eligibility.

Yes, you can pursue psychology. Eligibility:
The basic eligibility criteria for pursuing psychology degree is qualifying 10+2 or equivalent examination in any stream. Some reputed colleges and institutes demand a minimum of 50% marks in 10+2 as qualifying criteria to secure admission in this course.
